The centenary of Fernanda de Utrera and the Festival de Jerez: February at Espacio Expoflamenco

Among the activities programmed by our cultural center in Jerez, the commemoration of the centenary of Fernanda de Utrera and some Meetings of the 27th Festival of Jerez stand out.

The international flamenco community has a busy schedule of events for the month of February 2023 aimed at promoting and disseminating the culture of our art. Espacio Expoflamenco has organized a series of activities, including the commemoration of the centenary of Fernanda de Utrera and some meetings already prepared for the 27th Festival de Jerez. But there is much more. All with free admission until full capacity is reached at our headquarters on calle Diego Fernández Herrera s/n. Building Los Ramos de Jerez.

Among them, the meeting between Tomasa La Macanita and Esperanza Fernández, two great singers who will come together in honor and memory of Fernanda de Utrera, stands out. There will also be presentations of different events and a book by Carmen Arjona, as well as an exhibition by the painter Luis Márquez. During the Festival de Jerez, Espacio Expoflamenco is going to organize The Festival meetings. Every day at 5:00 p.m. it will bring together artists, promoters, trainees, fans and journalists who attend the international event.
