Raro es el escenario que no haya pisado <strong>Diego Montoya<\/strong> (C\u00e1diz, 1980) y extra\u00f1o el cantaor o cantaora que no haya acompa\u00f1ado de los de hoy d\u00eda. Quiso ser bailaor pero en su debut, en la Pe\u00f1a Juan Villar, \u00abpas\u00e9 tanta verguenza que me entr\u00f3 fiebre y me fui para mi casa\u00bb. Y eso que era el protagonista del grupo, que se llamaba \u00abDieguito y sus perejinas\u00bb. Pas\u00f3 a tocar la percusi\u00f3n y lleg\u00f3 a tocar en el Ballet Andaluz, en la \u00e9poca de Jos\u00e9 Antonio, cuando \u00e9l ten\u00eda 18 a\u00f1os, pero \u00abhab\u00eda unos fen\u00f3menos\u00bb y prefiri\u00f3 dar un paso al lado. Y comenz\u00f3 a tocar con las palmas con <strong>Mariana Cornejo, Antonio Reyes, Encarna Anillo<\/strong>&#8230; De Mariana guarda muchos recuerdos, porque \u00abme abri\u00f3 muchas puertas, aunque hubiera poco (dinero) me quer\u00eda a su lado\u00bb. Dice que los kil\u00f3metros \u00abno me cuestan, cojo mi trajera y voy donde tenga que ir\u00bb.
