{"id":53,"date":"2018-08-15T11:11:29","date_gmt":"2018-08-15T11:11:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/magazinevibe.edge-themes.com\/?p=53"},"modified":"2019-02-16T18:26:20","modified_gmt":"2019-02-16T17:26:20","slug":"el-regreso-de-silverio-desde-montevideo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/investigaciones-archivo\/el-regreso-de-silverio-desde-montevideo\/","title":{"rendered":"El regreso de Silverio desde Montevideo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hace diez a\u00f1os publiqu\u00e9 en\u00a0<em>El Afinador de Noticias<\/em>\u00a0acerca de la entrada al puerto de C\u00e1diz del barco en el que se supone regres\u00f3\u00a0<strong>Silverio Franconetti<\/strong> de su periplo americano. El dato lo obtuve despu\u00e9s de hallar el anuncio del primer concierto del cantaor sevillano el 29 de julio de 1864 que apareci\u00f3 en el Diario El Comercio de C\u00e1diz. En aquel concierto interpret\u00f3\u00a0<em>en su brillante repertorio oriental<\/em>\u00a0ca\u00f1as, polos, la ronde\u00f1a del Negro y el polo de Tobalo<em>,<\/em>acompa\u00f1ado a la guitarra por <strong>Jos\u00e9 Pati\u00f1o<\/strong>. Teniendo en cuenta esa fecha comenc\u00e9 a revisar hacia atr\u00e1s en el tiempo la secci\u00f3n de entrada de buques de los diarios gaditanos hasta que me top\u00e9 con el Gravina. Apareci\u00f3 dos meses antes de la fecha de dicho recital en el Teatro del Circo:\u00a0<em>El bergant\u00edn\u00a0<span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.todoavante.es\/index.php?title=Gravina_(1851)\">Gravina<\/a><\/span>\u00a0lleg\u00f3 a C\u00e1diz el 20 de mayo de 1864<\/em>. Se trataba de un barco de vela, de dos palos y 122 metros de eslora, que tra\u00eda a San Fernando los restos de militares muertos en 1810 en Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n<p>Como no se mencionaba el pasaje que portaba dicho bergant\u00edn, me dispuse a consultar los datos que conserva el <strong>Archivo \u00c1lvaro de Baz\u00e1n<\/strong> sito en la localidad de Viso del Marqu\u00e9s en Ciudad Real. Ped\u00ed que me facilitaran todo lo que que tuviesen sobre ese viaje del Gravina, y unos meses despu\u00e9s, ayer, me enviaron la informaci\u00f3n. Abr\u00ed los documentos con las manos temblorosas de emoci\u00f3n, esperando encontrar el nombre de los pasajeros y que entre ellos apareciese Silverio. Pero no ha habido suerte.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00ed que aparece la dotaci\u00f3n del buque y la informaci\u00f3n sobre el viaje que parti\u00f3 de Montevideo el 5 de marzo, arribando a C\u00e1diz tras 72 d\u00edas. El diario de navegaci\u00f3n hace una pormenorizada descripci\u00f3n del periplo, muy dif\u00edcil por cierto, ya que el barco hac\u00eda agua, y los vientos no fueron muy favorables, de ah\u00ed el excesivo tiempo para hacer la traves\u00eda atl\u00e1ntica. Tambi\u00e9n me enviaron el\u00a0<em>estado que manifiesta en que se halla a la entrada de este puerto el d\u00eda de la fecha el bergant\u00edn de S.M.C. nombrado Gravina del porte de 16 ca\u00f1ones de a 32 al mando del capit\u00e1n de fragata de la armada D. Domingo de Medina<\/em>. En ese documento aparecen los nombres de los oficiales de guerra, los oficiales mayores y los guardamarinas, ninguno de ellos es nuestro cantaor.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, entre las notas podemos leer lo siguiente:\u00a0<em>Conduce de transporte la se\u00f1ora del comandante, su hijo de menor edad, una criada, dos espa\u00f1oles pobres de solemnidad, un desertor de buque mercante y adem\u00e1s el corneta del bergant\u00edn Galiano en calidad de preso<\/em>. Dem\u00f3filo coment\u00f3 que Silverio sirvi\u00f3 en\u00a0<em>tiempos de guerra a los ej\u00e9rcitos de la Rep\u00fablica del Uruguay, donde lleg\u00f3 a obtener el grado de oficial<\/em>. Y se ha comentado, sin pruebas, que por ese motivo pudo ser repatriado en calidad de preso. La duda ahora es si el genial artista era el corneta del Galiano preso, el desertor del buque mercante o uno de los dos espa\u00f1oles pobres de solemnidad. Esta \u00faltima posibilidad negar\u00eda de plano la teor\u00eda de que regres\u00f3 como indiano adinerado para iniciar su carrera como cantaor profesional.
