{"id":4987,"date":"2019-01-17T14:26:14","date_gmt":"2019-01-17T13:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=4987"},"modified":"2019-03-16T22:09:54","modified_gmt":"2019-03-16T21:09:54","slug":"el-abuelo-y-sus-vivencias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/blog-archivo\/el-abuelo-y-sus-vivencias\/","title":{"rendered":"El abuelo y sus vivencias"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"paragraph\"><strong>-Abuelo, llevas toda tu vida de aficionado al cante y tendr\u00e1s cientos de an\u00e9cdotas, por tantos a\u00f1os de relaci\u00f3n con los artistas y las vivencias que habr\u00e1s tenido. \u00bfTe apetece recordar algunas de esas vivencias y an\u00e9cdotas?<\/strong><br \/>\n-Por supuesto que me apetece. La primera vivencia que tuve con un artista, digamos de cierta importancia, fue con Antonio Mairena en la barriada de Su Eminencia, en Sevilla, en la Pe\u00f1a Flamenca El Chozas. Creo que fue en 1977 y el maestro mairenero hab\u00eda ido a esta pe\u00f1a de barrio con su hermano Manolo para concretar las condiciones de un recital con el guitarrista Jos\u00e9 Cala\u00a0<em>El Poeta<\/em>. Yo entonces era un mairenista ac\u00e9rrimo y ver all\u00ed el maestro, en la pe\u00f1a donde empezaba a aficionarme, y de mi casa, fue algo muy emocionante. Iba con un abrigo largo y un sombrero tirol\u00e9s, con unas grandes gafas de sol que le tapaban casi toda la cara. Tengo una foto de aquel d\u00eda, que le hizo el fot\u00f3grafo L\u00f3pez, de Torreblanca, en la que se ve a Antonio con Padre P\u00edo al fondo, el que luego ser\u00eda mi barrio. Recuerdo que lo salud\u00e9 y que luego se fueron a ver el Betis, que jugaba con Las Palmas.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><strong>-\u00bfAsististe al recital de su hermano Manolo?<\/strong><br \/>\n-Por supuesto. A ese recital ya no fue Antonio. Manuel dio un recital de categor\u00eda y tengo que confesar que fue en ese concierto donde acab\u00e9 de entender el cante de los Mairena, que me costaba. Manolo iba algo resfriado y cant\u00f3 con un pa\u00f1uelo en la mano porque estornud\u00f3 varias veces. Lo escuch\u00e9 a dos metros de \u00e9l y me conmovi\u00f3 con sus buler\u00edas por sole\u00e1, soleares, seguiriyas y tientos. Digamos que me dio con el cante en la cara y que desde ese d\u00eda me convert\u00ed en un gran admirador suyo. Y creci\u00f3 sobremanera mi amor por la Casa de los Mairena, sobre todo por Antonio.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><strong>-\u00bfHablaste de eso alguna vez con Antonio?<br \/>\n<\/strong>-No, con Manolo. Antonio era algo soberbio y le hubiera molestado eso de que escuchando a su hermano peque\u00f1o me acab\u00f3 de entrar si voz. Y a Manolo le gust\u00f3 que se lo contara. Tuve siempre buena relaci\u00f3n con \u00e9l, aunque tambi\u00e9n me dej\u00f3 de hablar una vez por una cr\u00edtica y estuvimos tres o cuatro a\u00f1os sin mirarnos. Hasta que un d\u00eda me llam\u00f3 y me dijo: \u201cMira, yo te aprecio mucho y me duele que me veas en una pe\u00f1a y que no me hables. No estoy de acuerdo con todo lo que escribes sobre m\u00ed, pero te agradezco la cr\u00edtica de hoy\u201d. Le hab\u00eda hecho una buena cr\u00edtica a su \u00faltimo disco, que era de saetas. Los cantaores lo que quieren son buenas cr\u00edticas, y se molestan cuando hablas mal de lo que hacen.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><strong>-\u00bfCon Curro no tuviste amistad?<br \/>\n<\/strong>-No, con Curro no. Lo conoc\u00ed y habl\u00e9 un par de veces con \u00e9l, pero no tuvimos amistad. No era profesional y lo escuch\u00e9 pocas veces fuera del festival de su pueblo. Me encantaba cuando hac\u00eda las seguiriyas de Francisco la Perla o de T\u00edo Jos\u00e9 de Paula,\u00a0<em>Debajo del romero<\/em>\/\u00a0<em>guardo yo la llave<\/em>\u2026 No voy a decir que era mejor que Antonio en ese palo, como dicen muchos, porque no es verdad, aunque a m\u00ed me gustaba porque era m\u00e1s torrero, o sea, seguidor de Manuel Torres, que es uno de mis \u00eddolos. Curro ten\u00eda una jondura por seguiriyas que me conmov\u00eda.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><strong>-\u00bfLlegaste a escuchar a Juan, el otro hermano?<br \/>\n<\/strong>-No, no lo conoc\u00ed. He escuchado alguna grabaci\u00f3n casera y cantaba bien en la l\u00ednea de esa casa cantaora, aunque no lleg\u00f3 a tener consideraci\u00f3n entre los aficionados de fuera de Mairena del Alcor.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p><strong>-En Mairena hubo algunos cantaores muy buenos, al margen de los Mairena. \u00bfTe atrever\u00edas a opinar sobre algunos?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-Claro que s\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Manuel Crespo.<br \/>\n<\/strong>-Manuel fue un buen amigo y lo quise mucho. Era un aficionado muy bueno y cantaba muy bien los cantes de Alcal\u00e1 por sole\u00e1. En lo dem\u00e1s no destac\u00f3 mucho, quiz\u00e1 por seguiriyas. Sab\u00eda m\u00e1s que Brij\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Confite.<br \/>\n<\/strong>-No lo conoc\u00ed, pero tengo cosas suyas y era un gran cantaor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-El Cascabel.<br \/>\n<\/strong>-Buen amigo y gran cantaor. Fue profesional. Cantaor largo, que bord\u00f3 los fandangos de El Gloria. Muri\u00f3 en accidente de moto cerca de Mairena. Un hombre que tuvo siempre algunos problemas, pero era simp\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Fernando Porrito.<br \/>\n<\/strong>-Gran amigo y tambi\u00e9n un gran cantaor. El mejor sonido flamenco de Mairena, sin duda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Antonio Ortega padre.<br \/>\n<\/strong>-Un gran maestro. Largo y sabio. Y un amigo de verdad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Joselito Tirado.<br \/>\n<\/strong>-Una maravilla, aunque irregular y bohemio.
