{"id":4985,"date":"2019-01-13T14:23:37","date_gmt":"2019-01-13T13:23:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=4985"},"modified":"2019-02-10T13:33:11","modified_gmt":"2019-02-10T12:33:11","slug":"la-importancia-de-jerez-en-sevilla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/blog-archivo\/la-importancia-de-jerez-en-sevilla\/","title":{"rendered":"La importancia de Jerez en Sevilla"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Uno de los estudios pendientes por la flamencolog\u00eda es analizar a fondo y de una manera documentada el desembarco de artistas jerezanos en Sevilla con motivo de la apertura del Caf\u00e9 de don Manuel Ojeda\u00a0<strong><em>El Burrero<\/em><\/strong>, primero, y luego el de <strong>Silverio Franconetti<\/strong>. El Burrero lo abri\u00f3 en lo que fue el Sal\u00f3n Recreo, de la calle Tarifa, en pleno centro de Sevilla, que estuvo regentado casi siempre, desde mediados del XIX, por maestros boleros como <strong>Miguel y Manuel de la Barrera<\/strong> o <strong>Luis Botella<\/strong>, que era malague\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Manuel el Burrero<\/strong> era un macareno con muy buen sentido comercial, que se asoci\u00f3 con el c\u00e9lebre cantaor sevillano Silverio Franconetti por su poder como artista y tambi\u00e9n por sus enormes conocimientos del cante en general. El cantaor de la Alfalfa ya hab\u00eda dirigido un caf\u00e9 cantante en la calle Amor de Dios, el primer <strong>Caf\u00e9 de Silverio<\/strong>, luego no era un principiante en estas lides cuando el Sr. Ojeda le propuso la sociedad, que se disolvi\u00f3 en 1880 por discrepancias a la hora de contratar artistas y concretar una l\u00ednea determinada.<\/p>\n<p>Rota la sociedad, Silverio abri\u00f3 su propio caf\u00e9 en la calle Rosario, 4, y esa competencia entre ambos locales, adem\u00e1s de <strong>El Filarm\u00f3nico<\/strong>, conocido como el <strong>Caf\u00e9 de Juan de Dios<\/strong> \u2013Juan de Dios Dom\u00ednguez, hijo de El Isle\u00f1o\u2013, propici\u00f3 la etapa m\u00e1s importante de la historia del flamenco en Sevilla, porque llegaron grandes artistas desde toda Andaluc\u00eda, como <strong>Frijones, Paco la Luz, Chac\u00f3n, Ram\u00edrez, La Macarrona, La Malena, La Charr\u00faa, las hermanas Coquineras, Paco el Barbero, Diego Ant\u00fanez, La Rubia, El Canario, El Perote, Fosforito, La \u00c1gueda, La Trini, Jos\u00e9 Medina<\/strong> y un largo etc\u00e9tera.<\/p>\n<p>Sevilla estaba muy marcada por la etapa bolera. Digamos que era el centro mundial de la escuela bolera, sin duda por la labor de Miguel y Manuel de la Barrera, <strong>La Campanera, Petra C\u00e1mara y Manuela Perea\u00a0<em>La Nena<\/em><\/strong>. Hubo muchos m\u00e1s, y muchas, pero estos fueron fundamentales en el baile y la escuela sevillana de la danza, con posteriores maestros como <strong>\u00c1ngel Pericet<\/strong> o el <strong>Maestro Otero<\/strong>. El cante comenz\u00f3 a tener importancia en los caf\u00e9s y las academias sevillanas precisamente por la escuela bolera, puesto que ah\u00ed comenzaron a ser profesionales <strong>Silverio, Perea del Puerto, Jos\u00e9 Lorente, el ca\u00f1a\u00edlla Sartorio o El Peinero<\/strong>, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Fue quince o veinte a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde cuando se produjo el desembarco de importantes cantaores y cantaoras de ciudades como M\u00e1laga, C\u00e1diz, Jerez o El Puerto de Santa Mar\u00eda. Hubo una casa de vecinos de la Alameda de H\u00e9rcules, el n\u00famero 8 de esta calle, en la que solo viv\u00edan artistas flamencos en su mayor\u00eda de Jerez. El due\u00f1o ser\u00eda aficionado o empresario de locales flamencos, porque coincidieron en un mismo tiempo los dos hermanos Frijones, Antonio y Manuel, adem\u00e1s de Paco la Luz y sus hijas \u2014La Serrana y La Sordita\u2014, Ram\u00edrez, Antonio el Pintor y su hijo Lamparilla, o las Coquineras del Puerto. La Macarrona y La Malena viv\u00edan tambi\u00e9n en la Alameda, aunque en otras casas, como una t\u00eda de La Malena, Josefa la Charr\u00faa, que fue de las mejores bailaoras de Jerez en aquella \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n<p>Con una base ya jerezana en el flamenco de Sevilla, llegaron primero <strong>Chac\u00f3n<\/strong> y luego <strong>Manuel Torres<\/strong> y el <strong>Ni\u00f1o Medina<\/strong>, que formaron un l\u00edo en la capital andaluza.
