El p\u00fablico todav\u00eda deber\u00e1 esperar alg\u00fan tiempo para ver terminado el musical Jesucristo Flamenco<\/em><\/strong>, un ambicioso proyecto que lleva ya tres a\u00f1os cobrando forma, y que seg\u00fan lo previsto cristalizar\u00e1 en una pel\u00edcula con varias representaciones en vivo. Pero, de momento, puede asomarse al proceso de trabajo en Jesucristo Flamenco Workshop<\/em>, un documental dirigido por Laura Mu\u00f1oz Lia\u00f1o<\/strong> y producido por Antonio P\u00e9rez<\/strong> y Enrique F. Guzm\u00e1n<\/strong> que forma parte estos d\u00edas de la programaci\u00f3n del Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla<\/a> (Seff).<\/p>\n

La idea original de Jesucristo Flamenco<\/em>, no obstante, corresponde al palaciego Pepe Begines<\/strong>, carism\u00e1tico l\u00edder del grupo de agro-pop No Me Pises Que Llevo Chanclas y gran aficionado al flamenco. Coment\u00f3 su sue\u00f1o de crear una \u201c\u00f3pera flamenca\u201d con su amigo, el periodista Juan Jos\u00e9 T\u00e9llez<\/strong>, y juntos empezaron a elaborar los primeros borradores, aquel con la m\u00fasica y el guion, \u00e9ste con las letras. Desde la primera versi\u00f3n, culminada en septiembre de 2020, han escrito siete m\u00e1s, \u201cy seguimos d\u00e1ndole capas, porque esto es como una cebolla, hasta que quede perfecto\u201d, afirma el m\u00fasico.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Para dirigir la nave, echaron mano de Alfonso Casado<\/strong>, un pianista y director musical de Alcal\u00e1 de Guada\u00edra que, a pesar de su juventud, tiene ya en su haber puestas en escena de cl\u00e1sicos como Los Miserables, El fantasma de la \u00f3pera, My Fair Lady <\/em>o Mamma m\u00eda! <\/em>representados en varios pa\u00edses. \u00c9l es el encargado de organizar y armonizar las distintas piezas del conjunto, que van de una visi\u00f3n contempor\u00e1nea de la figura de Jesucristo a un elenco musical en el que destacan Arc\u00e1ngel, Carmen Linares<\/strong>, David Palomar<\/strong> y la joven Carmen Escudero<\/strong>, entre otras figuras, as\u00ed como la direcci\u00f3n coreogr\u00e1fica de Triana Ramos<\/strong>, las guitarras de Juan Diego Mateos<\/strong> y Miguel Iglesias<\/strong> y la percusi\u00f3n de Rafa Fontai\u00f1a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

De este modo, el p\u00fablico asistir\u00e1 desde dentro a una suerte de taller en la que se va poniendo en pie el repertorio, perfilando los papeles de cada uno de los participantes, moldeando los objetivos del espect\u00e1culo y afinando los arreglos. El productor Antonio P\u00e9rez<\/strong> lo explica en estos t\u00e9rminos: \u201cEnfocamos este trabajo como una reflexi\u00f3n sobre la creaci\u00f3n. El espectador ve siempre las cosas acabadas, y en cambio aqu\u00ed va a ver todas nuestras dudas, las discusiones, c\u00f3mo se prepara todo\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00abAunque sea universal, al flamenco todav\u00eda se le trata con la punta del pie. Nuestra intenci\u00f3n es hacer algo a la altura de este arte tan apasionante y tan endiabladamente dif\u00edcil\u00bb (Pepe Begines)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jesucristo Flamenco<\/em> sigue a una tribu gitana que llega a un lugar en ning\u00fan tiempo para representar la pasi\u00f3n flamenca de Jesucristo. Es Andaluc\u00eda. Arropado por su madre, Mar\u00eda, y por Magdalena, el Mes\u00edas se enfrenta a un formidable complot en plena Pascua Jud\u00eda. Traicionado por uno de los suyos, Judas Iscariote, Jes\u00fas ser\u00e1 detenido y llevado ante las autoridades.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Para T\u00e9llez, la historia de Jesucristo entra\u00f1a una lectura que va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del elemento religioso: \u201cVivimos en un mundo absolutamente material en el que las ideas importan cada vez menos. Este proyecto lo que anima es a que sigamos siendo seres humanos, a que sigamos emocion\u00e1ndonos con una utop\u00eda\u201d, asevera. \u201cEl potencial de magia de una idea, de una concepci\u00f3n del mundo\u2026 Para quienes no tenemos el don de la fe, es muy importante el humanismo, porque es lo que nos salva\u201d.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El prop\u00f3sito de los responsables de Jesucristo Flamenco <\/em>es rodar en localizaciones emblem\u00e1ticas de Andaluc\u00eda como la Alhambra, la Mezquita de C\u00f3rdoba o Baelo Claudia<\/strong>, aunque eso quedar\u00e1 \u2013si se cumplen los plazos previstos\u2013 para el oto\u00f1o-invierno del a\u00f1o que viene. Por el momento, no quieren dejar de hacer ruido con una propuesta diferente, a trav\u00e9s de este parto musical filmado o making in <\/em>\u2013por diferenciarlo de los making of <\/em>de las pel\u00edculas al uso\u2013 que abre el apetito del respetable y permite albergar excelentes expectativas. Ya el Festival de M\u00e1laga<\/strong> mostr\u00f3 hace un par de a\u00f1os una pincelada del proyecto en vivo de la mano de Arc\u00e1ngel, pero lo mejor, aseguran, est\u00e1 todav\u00eda por llegar.  <\/p>\n

Pepe Begines, no cabe duda, quiso ir a por todas desde el principio: \u201cAunque sea universal, al flamenco todav\u00eda se le trata con la punta del pie\u201d, lamenta. \u201cNuestra intenci\u00f3n es hacer algo a la altura de este arte tan apasionante y tan endiabladamente dif\u00edcil\u201d.<\/p>\n
