Nos citamos en el coqueto Tablao Flamenco Andalus\u00ed<\/a>, sevillana calle Arenal. Aqu\u00ed presta su oficio de tocaor varias noches a la semana. Adem\u00e1s de sus rizos rubios, de Yus Wieggers<\/strong> (Eindhoven, Pa\u00edses Bajos, 1997) sorprenden de entrada su acentazo andaluz y su flamencura. Esa pasi\u00f3n por lo jondo que le hizo dar un golpe de tim\u00f3n a su vida y plantarse en Andaluc\u00eda. \u00bfLes suena? Reconoce que la pinta de guiri tiene sus ventajas \u2013\u00abLa gente me reconoce r\u00e1pido\u00bb\u2013 y que su verdadera afici\u00f3n es el cante. \u00abSoy un cantaor frustrado, como dec\u00eda Paco de Luc\u00eda. Canto mucho, pero mu<\/em> malamente. El cante es la base sentimental del flamenco\u00bb, dice. Y los cantaores que reclaman sus servicios saben que chanela, claro. \u00abSi no no me habr\u00edan llamado\u00bb. Como \u00eddolos, cita a Juanito Mojama, Tom\u00e1s Pav\u00f3n, Pastora, Vallejo, Marchena, Chac\u00f3n, Manuel Torre, Agujetas, T\u00edo Borrico… \u00abMe gusta mucho el cante antiguo, mucho m\u00e1s que el de ahora\u00bb. \u00bfY guitarristas? \u00abSi me tuviera que quedar con dos, elegir\u00eda a Melchor y Ni\u00f1o Ricardo. De ahora, me gusta Riqueni, y Vicente cada vez m\u00e1s\u00bb. Confiesa que est\u00e1 contento con su presente, aunque en esta profesi\u00f3n se pasan fatiguitas. \u00abAl final, el flamenco es para minor\u00edas. De flamenco sabe mu<\/em> poquita gente. Por eso no me llama la atenci\u00f3n que en los Grammy Latinos nominen a gente que no son flamencos\u00bb. \u00bfEl flamenco es de todos? \u00bfEs tuyo? \u00abS\u00ed, yo siento la m\u00fasica flamenca como algo bastante m\u00edo\u00bb. <\/p>\n
