Lo considero una ventaja. Ser de una tierra ex\u00f3tica quiz\u00e1 me permita a\u00f1adir algo nuevo a este arte\u00bb. As\u00ed de claro lo tiene la joven cantaora <strong>Shen Wang<\/strong> (Hunan, China, 1997), que estos d\u00edas actuar\u00e1 en el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guirijondo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I Festival Guirijondo<\/a> de Palomares del R\u00edo, Sevilla. Ya saben, una original cita que reunir\u00e1 en el Aljarafe sevillano una buena representaci\u00f3n de artistas nacidos fuera de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Alumna aventajada de <strong>Dolores Agujetas<\/strong>, reconoce que la primera vez que la escuch\u00f3 le lleg\u00f3 al alma. Le gusta el cante cl\u00e1sico, tradicional. As\u00ed quiere que suene su futuro primer disco. Salpica su aprendizaje de gitaner\u00eda, pero asegura que \u00abno tiene sentido distinguir qui\u00e9n es el payo y qui\u00e9n el gitano\u00bb. Quiere ser profesional de lo jondo, y preferiblemente en Andaluc\u00eda, pero en el futuro le gustar\u00eda llevar el cante a su pa\u00eds. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 elegiste el cante en vez del baile o el toque, Shen? \u00abYo dir\u00eda que ha sido el cante el que me ha elegido a m\u00ed\u00bb, contesta. Y se aventura a apuntar que no cuidamos el flamenco como deber\u00edamos: \u00abEsta m\u00fasica no suena como sonaba antes\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Shen Wang estudi\u00f3 piano y antropolog\u00eda en Alaska (EEUU), donde se interes\u00f3 por la m\u00fasica \u00e9tnica, y m\u00e1s concretamente la m\u00fasica gitana. En la Rep\u00fablica Checa asisti\u00f3 a un curso sobre la relaci\u00f3n entre la m\u00fasica gitana y la jud\u00eda. All\u00ed conoci\u00f3 el flamenco en su totalidad (cante, baile y guitarra) y decidi\u00f3 que quer\u00eda dedicarse al cante jondo. Viaj\u00f3 a Madrid en 2019 para estudiar con <strong>Cristina Soler<\/strong> y a trav\u00e9s del guitarrista flamenco <strong>Can Wang<\/strong> (gitano de Pek\u00edn) se mud\u00f3 a Sevilla para estudiar en la escuela <a href=\"https:\/\/artesescenicasrebollar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Artes Esc\u00e9nicas Rebollar<\/a>, donde se forma con <strong>Eduardo Rebollar<\/strong>. En 2020 y 2021 toma clases con <strong>\u00c1ngeles Toledano<\/strong>.
