Manuel Carrasco Ruiz<\/strong> es conocido como Manuel Jero<\/strong>, otros lo llaman de Periqu\u00edn o Jerito. Nace en Jerez en marzo de 1974, el mayor de los hijos de Pedro Carrasco ‘Ni\u00f1o Jero’<\/strong> y quien tiene la responsabilidad de mantener su legado como tocaor. Ha acompa\u00f1ado a la mayor\u00eda de artistas que su edad le ha permitido, ya que su padre, cuando \u00e9l se iniciaba, estaba en lo m\u00e1s alto del palmar\u00e9s y abr\u00eda camino. Es por eso que reconoce que \u00abha estado adelantado a su tiempo\u00bb. Valora el arte de transmitir. Con sus falsetas levanta al p\u00fablico, ya que \u00abel sello propio es un don que te da Dios, y eso no se pierde\u00bb. Vivi\u00f3 esa \u00e9poca creativa de los 80 con Lole y Manuel<\/strong> o Camar\u00f3n<\/strong>, \u00abque ven\u00eda a buscar a mi padre\u00bb y \u00e9l estaba ah\u00ed. An\u00e9cdotas, miles, como cuando llev\u00f3 en coche a Madrid a su padre para que acompa\u00f1ara a Vicente Sordera<\/strong>, con un resguardo del carnet de conducir cuando se acababa de sacar. \u00abMi padre estaba conmigo loco\u00bb, reconoce con orgullo. Habla de su abuelo Manolito Jero<\/strong>, de sus t\u00edos y familia, que \u00abcada uno lleva su carrera como quiere\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n
