{"id":3687,"date":"2018-06-10T16:00:46","date_gmt":"2018-06-10T16:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=3687"},"modified":"2019-02-17T09:53:59","modified_gmt":"2019-02-17T08:53:59","slug":"cartagena-perlas-a-millares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/blog-archivo\/cartagena-perlas-a-millares\/","title":{"rendered":"Cartagena: perlas a millares"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>He estado el fin de semana anterior en la bella ciudad murciana de <strong>Cartagena<\/strong>, una de las m\u00e1s antiguas de Espa\u00f1a, donde un entusiasta grupo de aficionados, algunos de ellos muy j\u00f3venes, se han propuesto recuperar el <strong>Concurso de Cartageneras<\/strong>, desaparecido hace a\u00f1os. Son miembros de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cartagenajonda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Pe\u00f1a Flamenca Antonio Pi\u00f1ana<\/strong><\/a>, aquel viejo catedr\u00e1tico de los cantes mineros de La Uni\u00f3n y Cartagena. Siempre vi a Pi\u00f1ana como el <strong>Antonio Mairena<\/strong> de los cantes de Levante.<\/p>\n<p>No soy muy partidario de los concursos de flamenco, quiz\u00e1 por lo que se ha abusado de ellos, pero si se hicieran pensando de verdad en los j\u00f3venes y se renovaran un poco podr\u00edan seguir siendo \u00fatiles. El de <strong>La Uni\u00f3n<\/strong> \u2013<strong>Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas<\/strong>\u2013 es el m\u00e1s potente de todos y uno de los pocos que de verdad lanzan a un cantaor o a una cantaora al estrellato, si podemos utilizar esta expresi\u00f3n en el flamenco, que por fortuna no se usa mucho. Algunas de las figuras de la actualidad \u2013<strong>Mayte Mart\u00edn, Miguel Poveda<\/strong> o <strong>Roc\u00edo M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>\u2013 encontraron en este popular certamen el trampol\u00edn necesario para alcanzar una buena posici\u00f3n en este arte.<\/p>\n<p>Ya conoc\u00eda Cartagena desde finales de los ochenta y es una ciudad que me enamor\u00f3 entonces. Ahora est\u00e1 quiz\u00e1s m\u00e1s bella y tiene cosas dignas de verse, como por ejemplo el Teatro Romano. Cuando andas por sus calles m\u00e1s angostas parece que oyes salir las catageneras m\u00e1s antiguas por las ventanas de sus m\u00e1s vetustas casas. Imaginas cantando a <strong>La Pe\u00f1aranda<\/strong> en alguno de sus caf\u00e9s o a <strong>Guerrita<\/strong> luciendo un fastuoso coche por la calle del Aire o el hermoso puerto. Y s\u00ed, Cartagena es flamenca, all\u00ed gusta el cante, tanto el de la tierra como los dem\u00e1s palos, y cuando iban las compa\u00f1\u00edas de flamenco los cartageneros y las cartageneras luc\u00edan sus mejores prendas y los caf\u00e9s se llenaban de aficionados.<\/p>\n<p>Ha sido emocionante el reencuentro con <strong>El Rampa<\/strong>, nieto de aquel otro Rampa que cantaba, o con <strong>El Bongui<\/strong>, con el que tuve alguna amistad hace unos treinta a\u00f1os, cuando iba al Concurso de La Uni\u00f3n a participar. Y es todo un honor presidir el jurado del Concurso de Cartagena, cuya final ser\u00e1 el s\u00e1bado d\u00eda 16, as\u00ed que tiempo habr\u00e1 de analizar c\u00f3mo ha transcurrido no solo el certamen sino todo lo dem\u00e1s, porque est\u00e1n habiendo cursos, charlas, actividades en la calle y en locales de la ciudad, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Cartagena parece que tiene ganas de concurso, de flamenco en general, y estaremos all\u00ed para contarlo. Si va a triunfar o no el concurso, el tiempo lo dir\u00e1 porque no es empresa f\u00e1cil, sobre todo porque eso va a depender de un buen presupuesto y no est\u00e1n los tiempos para grandes inversiones en la Cultura. Voluntad s\u00ed que tienen sus organizadores y eso es muy importante, quiz\u00e1s tanto o m\u00e1s como el dinero. As\u00ed que habr\u00e1 que esperar al lunes d\u00eda 19 para saber el resultado.<\/p>\n<p>Cartagena merece recuperar su concurso y tambi\u00e9n que el flamenco tenga un sitio en esa ciudad durante todo el a\u00f1o.
