Querido maestro don Francisco L\u00f3pez-Cepero Garc\u00eda, Paco Cepero<\/strong> en los carteles:<\/p>\n

\u00ad\u00ad\u00ad<\/p>\n

Era solo un adolescente cuando descubr\u00ed que la guitarra flamenca se pod\u00eda tocar con un sello verdaderamente \u00fanico. Fue escuch\u00e1ndole acompa\u00f1ar a Juan Pe\u00f1a El Lebrijano<\/em><\/strong> en el Festival de la Mistela de Los Palacios, el pueblo sevillano. Ese d\u00eda entr\u00e9 en los camerinos a pedirle un aut\u00f3grafo y me lo encontr\u00e9 en pa\u00f1os menores, cambi\u00e1ndose para salir al escenario. Quise salir y me dijo: \u201cNo importa, venga esa libreta\u201d. Y me firm\u00f3 el aut\u00f3grafo ante la mirada at\u00f3nita de Curro Malena<\/strong>, otro maestro al que siempre he admirado mucho.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hace ya cuarenta a\u00f1os de esa noche inolvidable para m\u00ed. Entonces, con 23 a\u00f1os, so\u00f1aba ya con llegar alg\u00fan d\u00eda a ser cr\u00edtico de flamenco, y ese d\u00eda lleg\u00f3 pronto, en 1983. Alguna vez lo habr\u00e9 criticado, maestro, porque es mi trabajo, pero le confieso mi admiraci\u00f3n como artista, primero, y tambi\u00e9n como persona. Nunca imagin\u00e9 que alg\u00fan d\u00eda me abrir\u00eda su casa, y cuando hace unos d\u00edas lo hizo, dejando que entrara en su templo, entend\u00ed que era un verdadero privilegiado por poder estar junto a usted y su se\u00f1ora en esa casa tan hermosa, con tantos recuerdos y buenas vibraciones. Todav\u00eda sigo emocionado, maestro.<\/p>\n

\u00abGracias, maestro, por ser como es y tocar la guitarra como Dios. Por sus composiciones, que son parte de la banda sonora de mi vida. Por vivir en Jerez, porque as\u00ed es una ciudad m\u00e1s flamenca y con m\u00e1s se\u00f1or\u00edo\u00bb<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

Los artistas no son dioses, son de carne y hueso, y cuando los tratamos como eso, como dioses, se lo acaban creyendo y son peores artistas porque pierden la humildad. Pero si hay un artista que se acerca a ser un dios es usted, que tiene el don de hacer grande todo lo que hace. Algunas veces he o\u00eddo que no es humilde, que presume de ser grande. Tambi\u00e9n lo dec\u00edan de Pepe Marchena<\/strong>, porque se llamaba \u00e9l mismo Maestro de Maestros<\/em>, que es una distinci\u00f3n que cre\u00f3 para \u00e9l el c\u00e9lebre locutor Bobby Deglan\u00e9<\/strong>. Pero, \u00bfes que acaso no lo fue? \u00bfY es que no es usted uno de los m\u00e1s grandes de la guitarra flamenca, para presumir, a veces, de serlo?<\/p>\n

Hay muchas cosas que admiro de usted, maestro, y una de ellas es la sinceridad. Suele decir lo que siente, hasta de usted mismo, y eso es estupendo. Viene siempre de frente, sin bajar o desviar la mirada, y en eso perm\u00edtame que le diga que nos parecemos bastante. Los grandes artistas no solo dejan discos y buenos o malos momentos sobre un escenario: dejan tambi\u00e9n pensamientos, la palabra, que no es un legado menor.<\/p>\n

Alg\u00fan d\u00eda, maestro, podr\u00e9 decir con orgullo: \u201cSoy amigo del Maestro Cepero\u201d. Ya lo he dicho. Es un honor que aceptara un d\u00eda mi amistad, la de un humilde cr\u00edtico de flamenco que lo quiere en lo personal y lo admira en lo art\u00edstico. Gracias, maestro, por ser como es y tocar la guitarra como Dios. Por sus composiciones, que son parte de la banda sonora de mi vida. Por vivir en Jerez, porque as\u00ed es una ciudad m\u00e1s flamenca y con m\u00e1s se\u00f1or\u00edo. Por todo.<\/p>\n
