{"id":26936,"date":"2021-06-15T15:12:32","date_gmt":"2021-06-15T13:12:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=26936"},"modified":"2021-06-15T15:12:32","modified_gmt":"2021-06-15T13:12:32","slug":"honores-a-pedro-pena-en-lebrija","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/bordonazo\/honores-a-pedro-pena-en-lebrija\/","title":{"rendered":"Honores a Pedro Pe\u00f1a en Lebrija"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>He de reconocer p\u00fablicamente mi admiraci\u00f3n por el guitarrista y cantaor lebrijano <strong>Pedro Pe\u00f1a Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, v\u00e1stago de <strong>Bernardo Pe\u00f1a<\/strong> y <strong>Mar\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez <em>La Perrata<\/em><\/strong>. No hace falta decir que es hermano del entra\u00f1able <strong>Lebrijano<\/strong>, pero ah\u00ed est\u00e1 para quienes no lo sepan, que nos leen muchas personas en todo el mundo. Pedro Pe\u00f1a va a recibir por fin el <strong>Caracol de Oro<\/strong> de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacaracolalebrijana.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Caracol\u00e1 de Lebrija<\/a>, un festival que no existir\u00eda sin \u00e9l. Y la noticia me parece importante, porque este hombre ha sido siempre mod\u00e9lico en todo, tanto en lo personal como lo art\u00edstico.<\/p>\n<p>Hace muchos a\u00f1os, casi cuarenta, me llam\u00f3 <strong>Jos\u00e9 el de la Tomasa<\/strong> para decirme que iba a dar un recital en la <strong>Pe\u00f1a Flamenca La Trilla<\/strong>, de Trebujena, con Pedro Pe\u00f1a. Me invit\u00f3 a que fuera con ellos y acced\u00ed. Al llegar, sobre las 21 horas, decidieron tomar algo y Pedro me dijo que si quer\u00eda angulas. No ten\u00eda ni idea de lo que eran, la verdad, y cuando me pusieron la cazuela me parecieron fideos. \u00bfFideos con ajo? Reconozco que me com\u00ed la tapa con algo de reparo. Cuando lo coment\u00e9 con Pedro y el maestro Tomasa, estuvieron toda la noche ri\u00e9ndose.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u00abAntonio Mairena me dijo: &#8216;No te vayas, que vamos a echar un rato&#8217;. Yo ten\u00eda 20 a\u00f1os y entonces era mairenista ac\u00e9rrimo, as\u00ed que aquello era como si San Pedro me hubiera invitado a entrar en la Gloria\u00bb<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Si la memoria no me falla, la primera vez que habl\u00e9 con Pedro Pe\u00f1a fue en la <strong>Pe\u00f1a Ni\u00f1o Ricardo<\/strong> de Sevilla, una noche que acompa\u00f1\u00f3 a <strong>Antonio Mairena<\/strong> en privado. El maestro mairenero hab\u00eda dado una conferencia y luego echaron un rato de cante, al que me qued\u00e9 por deseo de Mairena, que me dijo: \u201cNo te vayas, que vamos a echar un rato\u201d. Yo ten\u00eda 20 a\u00f1os y entonces era mairenista ac\u00e9rrimo, as\u00ed que aquello era como si San Pedro me hubiera invitado a entrar en la Gloria. Mairena cant\u00f3 esa noche de una manera que luego no pude dormir. Y Pedro lo vivi\u00f3 con tanta emoci\u00f3n que sus falsetas eran sinfon\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>He seguido la carrera profesional de este maestro y, aunque no siempre he estado de acuerdo con sus teor\u00edas sobre el origen del flamenco, confieso que escucharlo tocar la guitarra de acompa\u00f1amiento era como asistir a una lecci\u00f3n siempre magistral. Pocos saben de cante como \u00e9l y eso le ayudaba a ser uno de los mejores. Acompa\u00f1aba a su hermano <strong>Juan<\/strong> de una manera y de otra distinta a <strong>Diego Clavel<\/strong>. Un maestro en el m\u00e1s amplio sentido de la palabra.<\/p>\n<p>Celebro el reconocimiento en su pueblo, Lebrija, que le llegar\u00e1 al coraz\u00f3n. Ser\u00e1 una noche de emociones, y tendr\u00e1 que tener cuidado porque el coraz\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n cumple a\u00f1os. Homenaje m\u00e1s que merecido, que aplaudimos a comp\u00e1s, ese tan peculiar de su pueblo, donde hay que morir.
