{"id":22036,"date":"2020-09-29T12:31:30","date_gmt":"2020-09-29T10:31:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=22036"},"modified":"2020-09-29T12:31:30","modified_gmt":"2020-09-29T10:31:30","slug":"la-lucha-por-los-giraldillos-premios-bienal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/bordonazo\/la-lucha-por-los-giraldillos-premios-bienal\/","title":{"rendered":"La lucha por los Giraldillos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><strong>El Giraldillo<\/strong> fue uno de los premios de flamenco m\u00e1s deseados a partir de que lo conquistara el cantaor mairenero <strong>Calixto S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> en la <strong>I Bienal de Flamenco<\/strong>, en la primavera de 1980. <strong>Mario Maya, Manolo Franco<\/strong> y <strong>Javier Bar\u00f3n<\/strong> lo colocaron en un lugar inalcanzable, y desapareci\u00f3. Eso de poner a pelear a los profesionales no parec\u00eda muy correcto y el concurso pas\u00f3 a mejor vida. Ahora se dan un buen pu\u00f1ado en cada edici\u00f3n y se va notando ya la presi\u00f3n que ejercen aficionados y cr\u00edticos para la concesi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">En todo hay intereses, y en el festival sevillano no pod\u00eda ser menos. Solo fui jurado una vez y lo dej\u00e9 cuando, en un mano a mano entre <strong>Jes\u00fas y M\u00e9ndez<\/strong> y <strong>Antonio Reyes<\/strong>, premiaron solo a uno, al de Chiclana, dejando al jerezano hundido. Era un espect\u00e1culo de los dos, as\u00ed que fue una injusticia porque se tendr\u00eda que haber premiado a los dos o a ninguno, al menos en mi opini\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u00abNo es mala idea que en un festival de la importancia de la Bienal se conceden premios a las mejores disciplinas, siempre seg\u00fan un jurado de expertos. El problema es que a veces el jurado no ve todos los espect\u00e1culos\u00bb<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Un cr\u00edtico nunca deber\u00eda intentar siquiera influir en el jurado o la organizaci\u00f3n para que se le d\u00e9 el Giraldillo a ning\u00fan artista. Y sucede. Es m\u00e1s, los hay que lo hacen sin rubor alguno y que ya han apostado por sus favoritos de una manera p\u00fablica. Sin haber estado en la Bienal ser\u00eda capaz de dar la lista de los galardones de este a\u00f1o, pero no lo voy a hacer por verg\u00fcenza torera. Y hablando de torer\u00eda, hasta hay toreros sevillanos que proponen nombres, los de sus cantaores, bailaores o guitarristas preferidos, como anta\u00f1o, <strong>Lagartijo, el Guerra, Mazantini<\/strong> o <strong>Fuentes<\/strong> pon\u00edan o quitaban reyes del cante.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">No es mala idea que en un festival de la importancia de la Bienal se conceden premios a las mejores disciplinas, siempre seg\u00fan un jurado de expertos. El problema es que a veces el jurado no ve todos los espect\u00e1culos porque son muchos y resulta complicado. \u00bfSe hace ante notario, adem\u00e1s, o al final es la organizaci\u00f3n quien decide la lista de premiados? Esto se hac\u00eda en los premios <i>Flamenco Hoy<\/i>, de <strong>Alfonso Eduardo P\u00e9rez Orozco<\/strong>.
