Hablamos, como es l\u00f3gico, de Algeciras. El ayuntamiento del municipio gaditano ha presentado el expediente que dar\u00e1 forma a la <strong>Semana Cultural del Flamenco<\/strong>. Se trata de una iniciativa municipal que ser\u00e1 puesta en marcha por primera vez del 16 al 21 de noviembre de 2020, coincidiendo con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/actualidad\/dia-internacional-del-flamenco-el-ano-en-el-que-hablo-el-alma\">D\u00eda del Flamenco<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ha sido <strong>Pilar Pintor<\/strong>, delegada de Cultura del <a href=\"http:\/\/www.algeciras.es\/es\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ayuntamiento de Algeciras<\/a>, la que ha ofrecido la noticia y ha explicado que el consistorio desarrollar\u00e1 numerosas iniciativas. Desde actuaciones musicales diversas hasta exposiciones, conferencias y espect\u00e1culos en el Teatro Florida.<\/p>\n<p>La Semana Cultural del Flamenco apostar\u00e1, sobre todo, por artistas locales. Una de las partes destacadas es la dedicaci\u00f3n de un d\u00eda a los guitarristas. Es ah\u00ed cuando ser\u00e1 presentado el disco <strong><em>Algeciras despu\u00e9s de Paco<\/em><\/strong>, que contar\u00e1 con la participaci\u00f3n de <strong>Jos\u00e9 Manuel Le\u00f3n, Salvador Andrades, Jos\u00e9 Carlos G\u00f3mez, Jos\u00e9 Mari Bandera, Antonio S\u00e1nchez, Salvador Casas<\/strong> y <strong>Antonio Mart\u00edn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Como broche de oro a esta iniciativa se celebrar\u00e1 la prestigiosa gala anual en la que ser\u00e1 entregada la <strong>Palma de Plata Ciudad de Algeciras<\/strong>. Un galard\u00f3n que goza de un valor m\u00e1s que reconocido a nivel nacional, gracias al trabajo realizado por la <strong>Sociedad del Cante Grande<\/strong> con el apoyo de la instituci\u00f3n municipal.<\/p>\n<p>La Palma de Plata en su edici\u00f3n de 2020 ha reca\u00eddo sobre la bailaora trianera <strong>Manuela Carrasco<\/strong>, que toma el relevo de otras tres mujeres: <strong>Juana del Pipa, Dolores Agujetas<\/strong> e <strong>In\u00e9s Bac\u00e1n<\/strong>. Otros nombres ilustres que han recogido el citado galard\u00f3n son <strong>Manuel Morao, Chano Lobato, Antonio El Pipa, Paco de Luc\u00eda, Fernando Terremoto, Chocolate<\/strong> y <strong>La Paquera<\/strong>, a t\u00edtulo p\u00f3stumo, o <strong>Manuel Moneo<\/strong>, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Es la edici\u00f3n vig\u00e9simo novena de la Palma de Plata. Su entrega est\u00e1 prevista para el mes de noviembre en el Teatro Florida, coincidiendo con la Semana Cultural del Flamenco al ser aplazado el <strong>Encuentro Internacional de Guitarra Paco de Luc\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abHemos optado por una apuesta decidida por el flamenco. Esta ha sido una de las pautas de trabajo que hemos venido siguiendo y por la que continuaremos centrando buena parte de los esfuerzos en materia de cultura\u00bb, ha recalcado Pintor sobre el equipo de Gobierno formado por el alcalde <strong>Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Landaluce<\/strong> desde 2011.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abTenemos cada vez m\u00e1s cerca esa realidad que ser\u00e1 el <strong>Centro de Interpretaci\u00f3n Paco de Luc\u00eda<\/strong>, una aut\u00e9ntica referencia cultural para Algeciras, C\u00e1diz y Andaluc\u00eda, y en cuyas paredes el flamenco ser\u00e1 uno de los grandes protagonistas, puesto que De Luc\u00eda fue tambi\u00e9n el m\u00e1s internacional de los algecire\u00f1os y el m\u00e1s grande guitarrista de todos los tiempos.
