{"id":20065,"date":"2020-06-18T19:17:50","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T17:17:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=20065"},"modified":"2020-06-18T19:17:50","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T17:17:50","slug":"la-profanacion-flamenca-de-la-alhambra-y-el-buen-nombre-de-espana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/bordonazo\/la-profanacion-flamenca-de-la-alhambra-y-el-buen-nombre-de-espana\/","title":{"rendered":"La profanaci\u00f3n flamenca de la Alhambra y el buen nombre de Espa\u00f1a"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aunque se ha dicho alguna vez, el flamenco no entr\u00f3 por primera vez en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alhambra-patronato.es\/edificios-lugares\/palacio-de-carlos-v\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Palacio de Carlos V<\/a> cuando se celebr\u00f3 el <strong>Concurso de Cante Jondo de Granada<\/strong> de 1922. Digamos que entonces entr\u00f3 por la puerta grande avalado por los m\u00e1s importantes intelectuales y artistas de nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>En junio de 1907 tuvo lugar un festival en uno de sus hermosos patios, y la prensa granadina arremeti\u00f3 contra las autoridades locales y la direcci\u00f3n de la Alhambra. Tanto indign\u00f3 el asunto que desde Madrid el diario <strong><em>La<\/em>\u00a0<em>Correspondencia<\/em><em> de Espa\u00f1a<\/em><\/strong>, de ideolog\u00eda conservadora, public\u00f3 un art\u00edculo demoledor para denunciar lo que consideraba un atentado cultural.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u00abAndaluc\u00eda, por m\u00e1s que digan y hagan algunos enamorados de su pandereta, de su falso ambiente chill\u00f3n y gitanesco, que la desacredita, amenguando su fama de pa\u00eds del arte y de la belleza, no est\u00e1 representada por el cante jondo, el jip\u00edo y las pata\u00edtas\u00bb (La Correspondencia de Espa\u00f1a, 1907)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>UNA VERG\u00dcENZA \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em>LA ALHAMBRA, CAF\u00c9 CANTANTE<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Leemos en la prensa granadina indignados art\u00edculos, que claman protestas contra una verdadera profanaci\u00f3n realizada no ha mucho en la ciudad de la Alhambra. <\/em><br \/>\n<em>Es el caso, que noches pasadas invadi\u00f3 el palacio de Carlos V una turba de \u201ccantaores\u201d y \u201cbailaoras\u201d, y con la anuencia de las autoridades locales y del triunvirato encargado de la conservaci\u00f3n de la Alhambra, organiz\u00f3 una \u201cjuerga\u201d a su estilo, bailando tangos, adornando con \u201cjip\u00edos\u201d sus cantares, y procediendo, como si se hallasen en un caf\u00e9 cantante, sin respeto para el sitio merecedor de que se le libre de tales profanaciones.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>No nos parece que el Palacio de Carlos V, ni otro recinto cualquiera de la Alhambra maravillosa, sea el lugar m\u00e1s adecuado para estas expansiones del flamenquismo. No creemos que la obra de los alminares deba reemplazar al extinto Caf\u00e9 del Burrero sevillano.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Andaluc\u00eda, por m\u00e1s que digan y hagan algunos enamorados de su \u201cpandereta\u201d, de su falso ambiente chill\u00f3n y gitanesco, que la desacredita, amenguando su fama de pa\u00eds del arte y de la belleza, no est\u00e1 representada por el cante \u201cjondo\u201d, el \u201cjip\u00edo\u201d y las \u201cpata\u00edtas\u201d. Ya tienen semejantes manifestaciones de una idiosincrasia indigna de atenci\u00f3n sus templos adecuados. Y querer llevarlas a la Alhambra es una profanaci\u00f3n vergonzosa, contra la que clamar\u00e1n, de fijo, cuantos aman nuestras glorias, y son celosos del buen nombre de Espa\u00f1a.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a1Qu\u00e9 canallas! Consiguieron acabar con los caf\u00e9s cantantes y no satisfechos, cuando el flamenco intentaba conquistar nuevos escenarios, continuaron con su ofensiva. Est\u00e1 claro que tiraban a matar contra los flamencos. Despu\u00e9s de leer esto, es dif\u00edcil discutir el acierto que tuvieron <strong>Falla<\/strong> y <strong>Lorca<\/strong> al organizar en la Alhambra el famoso certamen de flamenco.
