El flamenco, como Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO que es, no escapa a estas curiosas enumeraciones. Son muchos los turistas y aut\u00f3ctonos que cuando llegan a una ciudad buscan locales donde disfrutar del flamenco.<\/p>\n<p>En esta ocasi\u00f3n viajamos a Madrid, donde destacan lugares tan coquetos como Taberna Sanl\u00facar, Casa Patas, El callej\u00f3n de Madrid, Bodegas Alfaro o <strong>Al Vicente Copas<\/strong>, m\u00e1s conocido como <strong>Bar San Rom\u00e1n<\/strong>. \u00bfQu\u00e9 hace falta para disfrutar del flamenco? \u00bfEs necesario contar con un gran escenario para el lucimiento de los artistas? La respuesta es tan clara como rotunda: no.<\/p>\n<p>Muestra de ello es el protagonista de este art\u00edculo, el afamado y con cierto perfume a leyenda Bar San Rom\u00e1n. Su gerente, <strong>Vicente Romero<\/strong>, ha hecho de sus escasos quince metros cuadrados todo un templo del flamenco en la capital de Espa\u00f1a. Por su barra han desfilado estrellas de la talla de <strong>Enrique Morente<\/strong>, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u00abUn espacio singular que todo aquel que lo pisa recuerda con agrado. Un santuario flamenco que llena de cantes por sole\u00e1 y buler\u00eda las noches madrile\u00f1as\u00bb<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Desde <strong>Expoflamenco<\/strong> hemos tomado nota de este m\u00e1gico lugar gracias al excelente <a href=\"https:\/\/elpais.com\/ccaa\/2020\/02\/24\/madrid\/1582561205_960966.html\">reportaje<\/a> de <strong>Juan Diego Quesada<\/strong> para <em>El Pa\u00eds<\/em>. Son muchos los que dicen que el Bar San Rom\u00e1n es el m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o de Madrid. Su clientela habitual no suelta prenda sobre el local y el lugar est\u00e1 ciertamente escondido. \u00abHay que bajar unas escaleras para llegar a una peque\u00f1a barra en forma de uve\u00bb, explica Juan Diego en su pieza.<\/p>\n<p>Su due\u00f1o tiene 64 a\u00f1os y lleva media vida dedicado a la hosteler\u00eda m\u00e1s flamenca. Vicente Romero abre el bar y empieza a reproducir en bucle una extensa colecci\u00f3n de los grandes cantaores de la historia en una televisi\u00f3n de pantalla plana. Un archivero que vale su peso en oro gracias a antolog\u00edas espectaculares.<\/p>\n<p>El sitio es peque\u00f1o, min\u00fasculo. Apenas caben quince personas en su interior. Toda una joya para su clientela. \u00abVicente es un entendido. Es lo que se dice un <em>flamenc\u00f3lico<\/em>, porque no es un ortodoxo, pero escuchando doce horas al d\u00eda de flamenco sabes y entiendes. Tiene mucho gusto. Ha conocido a muchos guitarristas y cantaores\u00bb, explica <strong>C\u00e9sar Su\u00e1rez<\/strong>, redactor jefe de Cultura de la revista <em>Telva<\/em>, en declaraciones recogidas por <em>El Pa\u00eds<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abConoc\u00ed a Morente, Enrique de Melchor, Tomatito y Mora\u00edto Chico. Solo vive Tomatito. Los otros tres murieron de c\u00e1ncer. La enfermedad del flamenco es el c\u00e1ncer\u00bb, recuerda con nostalgia Vicente Romero para <em>El Pa\u00eds<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed es el bar San Rom\u00e1n o A Vicente Copas. Un espacio singular que todo aquel que lo pisa recuerda con agrado.
