{"id":16324,"date":"2019-11-13T09:39:37","date_gmt":"2019-11-13T08:39:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=16324"},"modified":"2019-11-13T09:39:37","modified_gmt":"2019-11-13T08:39:37","slug":"cantaor-don-antonio-chacon-era-de-verdad-de-jerez","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/bordonazo\/cantaor-don-antonio-chacon-era-de-verdad-de-jerez\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfChac\u00f3n era de verdad de Jerez?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"ES\">Hasta ahora parece que no se hab\u00edan dado cuenta en Jerez de lo importante que fue <strong>Don Antonio Chac\u00f3n Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, el gran cantaor de San Miguel. Han tenido que pasar 150 a\u00f1os de su nacimiento y 90 de su muerte (Jerez de la Frontera, 1869 &#8211; Madrid, 1929) para que le pongan una placa en la casa donde naci\u00f3. En 1936 le colocaron un azulejo en la calle Caz\u00f3n, por error, gracias al empe\u00f1o del poeta y flamenc\u00f3logo andalucista <strong>Antonio Chac\u00f3n Ferral<\/strong>, que luego ser\u00eda fusilado en la Guerra Civil. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">En realidad, Chac\u00f3n nunca se sinti\u00f3 muy jerezano, aunque presum\u00eda de ser cantaor de esa tierra porque cuando \u00e9l era ni\u00f1o viv\u00edan all\u00ed los mejores: <strong>Manuel Molina, Loco Mateo, la Sarneta, Paco la Luz, los Marurros<\/strong> y <strong>Frijones<\/strong>. Pero abandon\u00f3 pronto Jerez, siendo un adolescente, para, tras unos meses en la provincia de Huelva, afincarse en Sevilla con sus padres, que cuando lo gestaron eran dos personas casadas que tuvieron un romance, y de ese romance naci\u00f3, el 16 de mayo de 1869, en el n\u00famero 60 de la calle Sol, el genio del cante de su tiempo. Sin duda, la gran figura de Jerez junto con <strong>Manuel Torres<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><span lang=\"ES\">\u00ab\u00bfVa a dedicarle una noche la Bienal por ambas efem\u00e9rides, las de su nacimiento y muerte? No lo creo, porque en el festival sevillano no hay cabeza y hace a\u00f1os que perdieron el norte\u00bb<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Chac\u00f3n se hizo figura en Sevilla y tampoco aqu\u00ed lo han querido mucho. \u00c9l s\u00ed quiso mucho a esta ciudad, m\u00e1s que a Madrid, donde lo encumbraron y tuvo un sitio hasta su muerte. Sin embargo, le dijo a <strong>Galer\u00edn<\/strong> que en la capital de Espa\u00f1a hu\u00edan del flamenquismo. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">\u00bfVa a dedicarle una noche la Bienal por ambas efem\u00e9rides, las de su nacimiento y muerte? No lo creo, porque en el festival sevillano no hay cabeza y hace a\u00f1os que perdieron el norte. O el sur, quiz\u00e1. En Jerez, al menos, tiene una pe\u00f1a con su nombre y un busto, adem\u00e1s del azulejo que le han puesto en su casa.
