{"id":12964,"date":"2015-08-26T14:18:59","date_gmt":"2015-08-26T12:18:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=12964"},"modified":"2019-06-09T14:23:40","modified_gmt":"2019-06-09T12:23:40","slug":"festival-flamenco-on-fire-pamplona-a-compas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/bordonazo\/festival-flamenco-on-fire-pamplona-a-compas\/","title":{"rendered":"Pamplona, a comp\u00e1s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cuando el pasado a\u00f1o se cre\u00f3 en Pamplona el primer festival de flamenco de que se tiene constancia en esa ciudad espa\u00f1ola, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flamencoonfire.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Flamenco On Fire<\/a>, en algunos medios de comunicaci\u00f3n de cobertura nacional se sorprendieron bastante, como pregunt\u00e1ndose qu\u00e9 era aquello, un festival de flamenco nada menos que en Pamplona. A\u00fan existe la creencia de que el g\u00e9nero jondo es un arte exclusivamente andaluz, cuando sabemos que no es as\u00ed aunque naciera en Andaluc\u00eda y la mayor\u00eda de sus principales artistas hayan sido y sean andaluces y, en concreto, de Andaluc\u00eda la baja, esto es, de Sevilla y C\u00e1diz, por concretar, porque Jerez es un mundo aparte, pero tambi\u00e9n de C\u00e1diz. Y no olvidemos la importancia de M\u00e1laga, que en el siglo XIX fue no solo cuna de grandes artistas del cante, el baile y el toque, sino foco de movimientos flamencos, con sus c\u00e9lebres caf\u00e9s. Y tampoco otras ciudades como C\u00f3rdoba, Granada, Almer\u00eda o Huelva, e incluso Ja\u00e9n. Por no hablar de Extremadura, sobre todo de Badajoz, y de la importancia hist\u00f3rica de grandes ciudades como Madrid o Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>Espa\u00f1a entera, en el XIX, era aficionada al flamenco y los artistas se paseaban por sus teatros y caf\u00e9s, como se puede comprobar en las hemerotecas. No ha sido nunca Pamplona, ciertamente, una tierra muy flamenca, aunque all\u00ed naciera el guitarrista m\u00e1s grande de su tiempo, <strong>Sabicas<\/strong>. Y en honor a \u00e9l, a uno de los padres de la guitarra flamenca, se cre\u00f3 este festival que se viene desarrollando estos d\u00edas con gran \u00e9xito. S\u00ed, a pesar de que se sigan asombrando en Andaluc\u00eda y, sobre todo, en esos medios nacionales que, por cierto, contin\u00faan ignorando a la gran m\u00fasica espa\u00f1ola, que sin lugar a dudas es el g\u00e9nero flamenco. Andaluz, si quieren. Pero no solo han creado un festival en Pamplona, sino un buen festival de flamenco, con buen criterio y un sentido cultural que echamos de menos en los festivales de la tierra que pari\u00f3 a este arte.<\/p>\n<p>Es inadmisible que sigamos siento tan catetos, tan antiguos, y que no reconozcamos en Andaluc\u00eda el valor que tiene esta acertada iniciativa pamplonica. Por el flamenco y por Sabicas, por Andaluc\u00eda y por la m\u00fasica espa\u00f1ola. Admiro a quienes lo han logrado y tambi\u00e9n a quienes han conseguido que nuestro arte tenga un sitio en Valladolid, en Zamora, en \u00c1vila, en Bilbao, en Valencia, en Barcelona, en Madrid \u2013donde siempre lo ha tenido\u2013, en Murcia o en Burgos, porque eso significa no solo reconocimiento para este arte, sino trabajo para sus verdaderos protagonistas, que son los artistas del cante, el baile y el toque. Y tambi\u00e9n para los cr\u00edticos, los flamenc\u00f3logos y los representantes art\u00edsticos. Por fortuna, el flamenco conquist\u00f3 el mundo hace ya muchas d\u00e9cadas y no es de recibo que nos sorprendamos de que en una ciudad como Pamplona hayan creado un buen festival.
