{"id":12449,"date":"2019-05-22T21:34:36","date_gmt":"2019-05-22T19:34:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/?p=12449"},"modified":"2019-05-22T21:34:36","modified_gmt":"2019-05-22T19:34:36","slug":"cataluna-y-el-flamenco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expoflamenco.com\/archivo\/bordonazo\/cataluna-y-el-flamenco\/","title":{"rendered":"Catalu\u00f1a y el flamenco"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lo del flamenco en Catalu\u00f1a no es un fen\u00f3meno de la emigraci\u00f3n andaluza de la posguerra. Viene de mucho m\u00e1s atr\u00e1s en el tiempo, de mediados del siglo XIX, cuando el g\u00e9nero musical y danc\u00edstico andaluz a\u00fan no era llamado flamenco. En los comienzos de este arte como espect\u00e1culo p\u00fablico, su presencia en Barcelona no era tan importante como en la capital de Espa\u00f1a, aunque ya iban por all\u00ed los primeros artistas profesionales, por no hablar de los boleros y las boleras. Ya en el \u00faltimo tercio del siglo en cuesti\u00f3n el flamenco tuvo mucha presencia en la sociedad barcelonesa, en sus caf\u00e9s cantantes y tambi\u00e9n en los teatros, siendo muy reconocidos el guitarrista <strong>Paco el de Lucena<\/strong> o el cantaor <strong>Fernando el de Triana<\/strong>, quienes en 1893 conquistaron a los aficionados de esta ciudad. El de Triana incluso compuso unos tangos cuya letra hablaba de Barcelona, y a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde tuvo una tienda de p\u00e1jaros en Las Ramblas.<\/p>\n<p>Los flamencos siempre han estado donde est\u00e1 el dinero y Barcelona era ya en el XIX una de las grandes ciudades europeas, con un m\u00e1s que interesante movimiento art\u00edstico de todos los g\u00e9neros y buenos teatros y caf\u00e9s cantantes. Por tanto, es una tierra que los m\u00fasicos flamencos conquistaron pronto. Ya en el pasado siglo, los artistas andaluces invadieron Barcelona y comenzaron a salir artistas locales, como los miembros de la familia Borrull. El fundador de esta saga, el gran guitarrista <strong>Miguel Borrull Castell\u00f3<\/strong> (1866-1947), era de Castell\u00f3n de la Plana, pero emigr\u00f3 a Barcelona, donde se cas\u00f3 con <strong>Dolores Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, que bailaba, y el matrimonio dio, entre otros artistas, al tambi\u00e9n guitarrista <strong>Miguel Borrull Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, uno de los mejores de la primera mitad del siglo XX, solicitado por las mejores voces de su tiempo. No olvidemos a la mejor bailaora de todos los tiempos, <strong>Carmen Amaya<\/strong>, una gitana del Somorrostro barcelon\u00e9s que revolucion\u00f3 el baile andaluz. Y tantos y tantos artistas desde entonces hasta nuestros d\u00edas, con figuras actuales como <strong>Mayte Mart\u00edn, Duquende, Miguel Poveda, Chicuelo<\/strong> o <strong>Juan Ram\u00f3n Caro<\/strong>, por citar solo a los m\u00e1s representativos de Catalu\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>Es verdad que a partir de los a\u00f1os 50, con la llegada de decenas y decenas de miles de andaluces, el flamenco no solo creci\u00f3 a nivel de espect\u00e1culo p\u00fablico, en salas comerciales y teatros, sino que se integr\u00f3 en la sociedad catalana, en el pueblo, empezando a surgir las pe\u00f1as flamencas y los festivales, organizados en muchos casos por los propios andaluces, logrando que nuestro arte formara ya parte de aquella sociedad de una manera total. Hoy casi no podr\u00eda entenderse el flamenco sin Barcelona, sin artistas nacidos en Catalu\u00f1a, como los nombrados, o sin tablaos como La Macarena o El Cordob\u00e9s, entre otros muchos.<\/p>\n<p>En caso de que Catalu\u00f1a se independizara de Espa\u00f1a, \u00bfqu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda con el flamenco? No con el flamenco catal\u00e1n, que dicen que ya existe un flamenco catal\u00e1n, sino con el flamenco en general. Pues no pasar\u00eda nada, porque es un arte arraigado ya en la cultura catalana, como lo est\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n en casi todas las regiones de Espa\u00f1a. Seguir\u00eda habiendo pe\u00f1as, festivales, semanas culturales y salas comerciales, y seguir\u00edan surgiendo artistas. Desde luego, gracias a la importante labor llevada a cabo por los andaluces que emigraron hace m\u00e1s de medio siglo, o por sus descendientes, que mantienen vivo el esp\u00edritu flamenco en esa bella tierra. Los flamencos tienen esa capacidad, la de <em>aflamencar\u00a0<\/em>aquellas tierras a las que llegan. Ocurri\u00f3 con Barcelona, con Madrid o con Tokio. No hay una sola ciudad en el mundo donde no haya varios flamencos promoviendo el crecimiento y la presencia de este arte. Sin ir m\u00e1s lejos, <strong>ExpoFlamenco<\/strong>, el portal donde escribimos, se financia desde Vancouver, en Canad\u00e1, y se trata lo jondo con mentalidad universal. Por consiguiente, no hay motivos para que nos preocupemos.
