Bailando pa cant\u00e1<\/i>&#8216;. That production captured the attention of the professional critics, who praised this show, the first solo production by this artist, held at the\u00a0<i>Sala Compa\u00f1\u00eda<\/i>\u00a0venue. \u201cIt was the first time I found myself in such situation, as I had never produced my own show, and I have to admit that it was a very useful learning experience regarding what should be done, and what shouldn\u2019t, particularly because I spent so many hours on this and it all had to make sense\u201d, said the artist, stating conclusively that he was \u201cvery happy with the result\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This flamenco artist from the San Miguel district of Jerez has proven to be a worthy champion of the Jerez school, considering that he has trained at the academies of Manuela Carpio and Chiqui de Jerez, and that he has enjoyed \u201cgreat parties with old Gypsy ladies from whom I\u2019ve learned a lot\u201d. In that respect, Miguel \u00c1ngel expresses affection \u201cfor those women who have contributed so much for\u00a0<i>baile<\/i>\u00a0and, for reasons I don\u2019t quite understand, have somehow been forgotten\u201d, adding that \u201cthis should not happen, their great worth should be acknowledged\u201d. This\u00a0<i>bailaor<\/i>\u00a0was referring to Concha Vargas, the\u00a0<i>bailaor<\/i>a from Lebrija who performed as special guest in his show at that Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Heredia remembers his long tours in Japan, that country \u201cwhere I come back every year to breath like they do\u201d, since, according to him, \u201cthey love flamenco and greatly respect it\u201d, and that\u2019s why he will continue going there after twelve uninterrupted years. In July \u201cI\u2019ll travel to Japan once again, to do my usual tour and teach courses\u201d. He will take this trip on July 8, one day after performing at the\u00a0<i>Plaza de Toros<\/i>\u00a0(bullfighting ring) of Jerez, on occasion of the festival \u201c<i>Jerez, Gran Reserva<\/i>\u201d, which will honor Pansequito, and whose lineup he describes as \u201cunbeatable\u201d. After arriving in Japan, he will \u201cfocus on my school and spend time with my students\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In the evening of the \u2018<i>Jerez, Gran Reserva<\/i>\u2019 festival, on July 7 at 10 PM, Miguel will be sharing the stage with the artist being honored, as well as with Aurora Vargas, Rancapino Chico, Pedro &#8216;El Grana\u00edno&#8217;, the Pa\u00f1ero brothers, Luis Moneo, Jos\u00e9 Carpio &#8216;Mijita&#8217;, Lela Soto &#8216;Sordera&#8217; and Mar\u00eda Terremoto. He will take part in the group \u201cCon el baile in la memoria\u201d together with other colleagues such as Enrique Pantoja, Manuela Carpio, T\u00eda Curra,T\u00eda Yoya, Diego de la Margara and Gema Moneo, as well as Alonso El Purili, Juanillorro, El Quini, Luis de Mateo, Remedios Reyes and Juan Lara, in a show where he\u2019ll go \u201cto enjoy it, as I\u2019m sure it will be a lively party, because there will a lot of art\u201d.
