\u2013 Certainly. Very conservative. Note that a\u00a0martinete de Triana<\/i>\u00a0is sung nowadays in the same way as it was performed a century ago. Same with Chac\u00f3n\u2019s\u00a0caracoles<\/i>. That master of Jerez changed\u00a0caracoles<\/i>, molding them to his impressive technique and wonderful voice, and they haven\u2019t changed ever since, they are the same. There is also the\u00a0petenera de Medina el Viejo<\/i>, which was first set by his son, Ni\u00f1o Medina, and then by Ni\u00f1a de los Peines. The good things remain and become classics, like any untouchable musical piece by a great classic composer from France or Germany. I think it\u2019s wonderful that nowadays a young, 20-year old\u00a0cantaor<\/i>, is able to faithfully sing a\u00a0malague\u00f1a de Chac\u00f3n<\/i>\u00a0or a\u00a0seguiriya de Manuel Torres<\/i>. As long as this happens, traditional\u00a0cante<\/i>\u00a0will be here to stay, and no fad that will change it.<\/p>\n
