Twinned with the <strong>Seville Biennial<\/strong>, it is one of the most important <em>jondo<\/em> art events to take place outside of Spain. Every two years Paris organises the festival which cultivates an eclecticism and spirit of discovery, bringing together fans, enthusiasts and those simply intrigued by great performances.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This new edition will cleverly include a mixture of stars, such as key flamenco leaders from experimental branches. For example <strong>Paula Comitre<\/strong> and <strong>Florencia Oz<\/strong>, who are juxtaposed by illustrious performers of the purest dance and <em>toque.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>From 3<sup>rd<\/sup>-18<sup>th<\/sup> February 2022, the <strong>National Theatre of Chaillot<\/strong> will be dressed up ready to receive fans of flamenco and a handful of huge artists. Names found in the programme include <strong>Rafael Riqueni<\/strong>, <strong>Farruquito<\/strong>, Paula Comitre herself, <strong>Rafaela Carrasco, David Coria, Jann Gallois<\/strong> and Florencia Oz \u2013 an impressive line-up. Exhibitions about the flamenco world will also be displayed at the event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paris\u2019 5<sup>th<\/sup> Flamenco Art Biennial Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3<sup>rd<\/sup> &#8211; 6<sup>th<\/sup> February 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Ariadna,<\/em> Rafaela Carrasco<\/p>\n<p>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National de Chaillot<\/p>\n<p>Rafaela Carrasco is surrounded by eight dancers, singers and guitarists to take us on a flamenco journey in the form of a Greek tragedy. An introspection into the heart of the labyrinth of our deepest fears.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>4<sup>th<\/sup>-6<sup>th<\/sup> February 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Alegor\u00eda,<\/em> Paula Comitre<\/p>\n<p>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National de Chaillot<\/p>\n<p>At only 27 years of age, Paula Comitre \u2013 bright and fiery \u2013 is flamenco\u2019s new rising star. She presents <em>Alegor\u00eda<\/em>, her second creation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>10<sup>th<\/sup>\u201312<sup>th<\/sup> February 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Ant\u00edpodas,<\/em> Florencia Oz<\/p>\n<p>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National de Chaillot<\/p>\n<p>The Peruvian author Julio Ram\u00f3n Ribeyro wrote that we all have a doppelg\u00e4nger living on the opposite side of the globe. The reunion of twins Florencia (dancer) and Isidora (musician) promises an intimate performance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>11<sup>th<\/sup>-13<sup>th<\/sup> February 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Imperfecto,<\/em> David Coria\/Jann Gallois<\/p>\n<p>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National de Chaillot<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, Jann Gallois from the world of hip hop, and on the other, David Coria, from that of flamenco.
