Bay\u00f3n, who was going to perform her production <em>Yo soy<\/em>, won\u2019t be able to attend the festival for health reasons and Farru will take her place with his show <em>Por un sue\u00f1o<\/em>, where <strong>Farruca<\/strong>\u00a0will also perform as invited guest.<\/p>\n<p>In <em>Por un sue\u00f1o<\/em>, Antonio Fern\u00e1ndez Montoya \u2018Farru\u2019, the middle child of the Farruco dynasty, states feeling a deep need of \u201cfinding himself\u201d. This personal encounter starts with his experience as <em>bailaor <\/em>with the guitarist <strong>Paco de Luc\u00eda<\/strong>. Thus, <em>Por un sue\u00f1o<\/em>\u00a0is presented as \u201cchoosing a path\u201d which, from an artistic perspective, this <em>bailaor<\/em> from Seville has selected to \u201cgrow and evolve\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>Por un sue\u00f1o<\/em> will feature <em>seguiriyas, fandangos, alegr\u00edas, sole\u00e1s por buler\u00eda, buler\u00edas <\/em>and <em>tangos<\/em>, among other flamenco palos, as well as the <em>cante<\/em> of <strong>Antonio Villar, Ezequiel Chanito<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>La Fabi<\/strong>, the guitars of <strong>Jos\u00e9 G\u00e1lvez<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Yerai Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>, the percussion of <strong>Pira\u00f1a<\/strong> and the bass and keyboard of <strong>Melchor Borja<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The tickets purchased for Isabel Bay\u00f3n\u2019s show will be valid for Farru\u2019s production. However, those spectators who opt for a refund will be able to do so \u2014 between February 5<sup>th<\/sup> and February 23<sup>rd<\/sup> \u2014 at the Theater\u2019s box office or via Tickentradas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Twelve premieres in <em>baile flamenco<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The 24<sup>th<\/sup> <em>Festival de Jerez<\/em>, which will take place between February 21<sup>st<\/sup> and March 7<sup>th<\/sup>, 2020, showcases the creative potential of <em>baile flamenco<\/em> with twelve premieres in its different venues. The Festival will start at the Villamarta Theater, its main stage, with the new production of <strong>Rafaela Carrasco<\/strong>\u00a0and it will end with the choreographies of the <strong><em>Ballet Nacional de Espa\u00f1a<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0under the direction of <strong>Rub\u00e9n Olmo<\/strong>. In between there will be new productions by <strong>Antonio El Pipa, Andr\u00e9s Pe\u00f1a<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Pilar Ogalla, Marco Flores<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong><em>Compa\u00f1\u00eda Shoji Kojima<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This creative energy will also be present at <em>Sala Pa\u00fal<\/em> with the new creations of guitarist <strong>Juan Diego Mateos<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 together with Bel\u00e9n Maya \u2014,\u00a0<strong>Paula Comitre, Hiniesta Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Carmen Herrera<\/strong>, as well as at <em>Sala Compa\u00f1\u00eda<\/em>, with the new productions of <strong>\u00c1ngel Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Luisa Palicio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The 24<sup>th<\/sup> Festival de Jerez also features several artists who have been awarded the prestigious National Dance Prize, such as <strong>Sara Baras, Manuel Li\u00f1\u00e1n<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Olga Pericet<\/strong>, besides Rub\u00e9n Olmo and\u00a0<strong>Javier Latorre<\/strong>, the latter as choreographer.
