He is a good pick, without a doubt, because he\u2019s a <em>cantaor<\/em> from C\u00f3rdoba with academic interests. He was also the best choice when <strong>Arc\u00e1ngel<\/strong> was appointed last year, but somehow, they favored that <em>cantaor<\/em> from Huelva instead of picking David Pino.<\/p>\n<p>Betting on Arc\u00e1ngel was a failure, although he did his job in the little time he held that position, just one course. Now the <em>cantaor<\/em> from Puente Genil will be in charge of the direction of the Flamencology Chair, and I\u2019m sure this news will be well-received because this artist is greatly appreciated by the aficionados. He has just one CD in the market, <em>Mi largo caminar<\/em>, an interesting album released last year. He is a young <em>cantaor<\/em>, born in 1972, with wide interests and a deep love for flamencology and flamenco history.<\/p>\n<p>This is what the Flamencology Chair needs, someone from that province with renown in the field and young enough to be able to lead that Chair for many years.
