After being awarded a gold record for his double album <em>El tiempo pasa volando<\/em>, this artist began an international tour with the same name at Madrid\u2019s Teatro Real. The purpose of this tour is to celebrate the thirty years that Poveda has been performing on stages. As he himself puts it in his website, \u00abmy 30 years of music\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>This musician, born in Barcelona but adopted by Seville, combines his talent as traditional flamenco <em>cantaor<\/em> with incursions into other genres, such as <em>copla andaluza<\/em>, <em>boleros<\/em> and lyric or melodic songs. His commitment to not limit himself to any given musical genre has earned him both praise and censure from the most conservative corners in flamenco.<\/p>\n<p>The spirit of this tour is implicit in this trilogy formed by the two CDs of his latest album <em><strong>El tiempo pasa volando\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>and his previous record <em><strong>EnLorquecido<\/strong><\/em>, his most committed and lyric work about the poet <strong>Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca<\/strong>. Thus, his concerts comprise three perfectly defined hours. The second CD of his double album is a serious record of <em>cante jondo<\/em>, where we find <em>buler\u00edas por sole\u00e1, seguiriyas, tientos tangos, fandangos, guajiras, grana\u00ednas, cantes del Piyayo, <\/em>a <em>malague\u00f1a del Canario <\/em>and a<em> murciana.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The first CD of <em>El tiempo pasa volando\u00a0<\/em>is a tribute to the music of Miguel\u2019s childhood. That\u2019s the time when he would buy cassette tapes at gas stations and listen to the radio in his neighborhood in Barcelona. <strong>Los Chichos<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Los Chunguitos<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Parrita<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Lole y Manuel<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tijeritas<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Chiquetete<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Los Panchos\u00a0<\/strong>and Jos\u00e9 Luis Rodr\u00edguez\u00a0<em><strong>El Puma<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>After his recent recital in Bogota on September 11<sup>th<\/sup>, the next tour dates are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>October 6<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Donostia (Basque country)<\/li>\n<li>October 11<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Cartagena (Murcia)<\/li>\n<li>November 15<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Gran Canaria<\/li>\n<li>November 16<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Tenerife<\/li>\n<li>November 28<sup>th<\/sup>, 29<sup>th<\/sup> and 30<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 C\u00e1diz<\/li>\n<li>December 10<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Barcelona<\/li>\n<li>December 14<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Seville<\/li>\n<li>December 23<sup>rd<\/sup> \u2013 Madrid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MIGUEL POVEDA -
