The <em>cantaores<\/em> Rafael de Utrera and Lela Soto will take part in this event, among many others. This festival, organized by <em>the Coordinadora de Entidades Flamencas y Andaluzas de Cornell\u00e0 de Llobregat<\/em>, is a multifaceted event which includes all aspects and aesthetics of <em>arte flamenco<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The Festival will open on May 3rd at Cornell\u00e0\u2019s Central Library with <strong>Francisco Hidalgo<\/strong>\u2018s show <em>De orilla a orilla\u00a0<\/em>(\u2018<em>From shore to shore\u2019<\/em>), which will have the collaboration of the <em>Asociaci\u00f3n de Poetas de Cornell\u00e0<\/em>. On Saturday, May 4<sup>th<\/sup>, at the San Ildefonso Auditorium, <strong>Lela Soto<\/strong>, winner of the 2017 <em>Talento Flamenco<\/em> contest, will delight us with her voice, joined by <strong>Manuel Parrilla<\/strong>\u2018s guitar. Soon after we\u2019ll be able to listen to <strong>Rafael de Utrera<\/strong> \u2014 renowned <em>cantaor<\/em> who has collaborated with Jos\u00e9 Merc\u00e9, Enrique Morente and Ni\u00f1a Pastori \u2014 together with <strong>Jes\u00fas Guerrero<\/strong>\u2018s guitar.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, May 10<sup>th<\/sup>, Cornell\u00e0\u2019s <em>Pe\u00f1a Andaluza Los Aficionados<\/em> will host <strong>Segundo Falc\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0\u2018s voice and <strong>Manolo Franco<\/strong>\u2019s guitar.\u00a0On May 11<sup>th<\/sup> and May 18<sup>th<\/sup>, Saturdays, the teacher and <em>bailaora<\/em> <strong>Aina N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/strong>\u00a0will give all-inclusive flamenco workshops for people with or without intellectual, visual or auditive disabilities. The purpose of these workshops is to enter the world of flamenco, with all its artistic and emotional charge, through its most representative styles, which at the same time are connected with the most basic emotions<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, May 11<sup>th<\/sup>, <strong>Paco Montalvo\u00a0<\/strong>will present <em>Alma de viol\u00edn flamenco\u00a0<\/em>(\u2018<em>Soul of flamenco violin\u2019<\/em>) at Cornell\u00e0\u2019s Auditorium. This young artist from C\u00f3rdoba offers an innovative vision of violin\u2019s behavior as the main voice of flamenco. When he was 18 years old, he became the youngest violinist to debut at the main stage of New York\u2019s Carnegie Hall in the 21<sup>st<\/sup> century. He creates versions of works by de Paco de Luc\u00eda, Falla, Sarasate, Granados, T\u00e1rrega or Alb\u00e9niz. His works also include universal pieces, of his own creation or from popular flamenco.<\/p>\n<h2>Cornell\u00e0 Castle<\/h2>\n<p>Cornell\u00e0 Castle will open its doors on May 17<sup>th<\/sup> for <strong>Toni Mo\u00f1iz<\/strong>\u2019s <em>baile,<\/em> <strong>David P\u00e9rez<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Luis de la Fefa<\/strong>\u2018s <em>cante<\/em>, <strong>Jos\u00e9 Manuel Saucedo<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Roger \u2018Rocha\u2019<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Sabartes\u2019<\/strong> <em>toque<\/em> and <strong>Emilio P\u00e9rez<\/strong>\u2018s violin, in a show titled <em>Noche Torre de La Miranda <\/em>(\u2018<em>Miranda\u2019s Tower Evening\u2019<\/em>). On Saturday, May 18<sup>th<\/sup>, at the San Ildefonso Auditorium, the <em>cantaores<\/em> <strong>David Palomar<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>J<\/strong><strong>uli\u00e1n Estrada<\/strong>, joined by the guitars of <strong>Rafael Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Manuel Silveria<\/strong>, will perform. Continuing with the program, on Friday, May 24<sup>th<\/sup>, <strong>Francisco Escudero \u2018Perrete\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0will delight us with his voice at Cornell\u00e0\u2019s <em>Pe\u00f1a Los Aficionados<\/em>, joined by <strong>Paco Heredia<\/strong>\u2018s guitar.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, May 31<sup>st<\/sup>, <strong>Lole Montoya<\/strong> will present <em>Inolvidable Sinatra<\/em>\u00a0(\u2018<em>Unforgetable Sinatra\u2019<\/em>) at <em>Plaza de la Iglesia<\/em>. Joined only by piano arrangements or, as the festival\u2019s program states, \u00abby a soft veil of a jazz quartet floating over <em>palos flamencos<\/em>. Lole Montoya\u2019s voice takes a new turn towards the intimacy of Frank Sinatra\u2019s repertoire\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, June 1st, the documentary <strong><em>Camar\u00f3n: flamenco y revoluci\u00f3n<\/em><\/strong>, nominated for the 2018 Goya Prizes in the category of best documentary, will be screened at Cornell\u00e0\u2019s Central Library. On Sunday, June 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, the different ensembles of <em>baile<\/em> of the <em>Asociaci\u00f3n Andaluza Hijos de Alm\u00e1char<\/em>, <em>Centro Andaluz Blas Infante de Cornell\u00e0, Asociaci\u00f3n Cultural Andaluza Hijos de Paradas en Catalunya<\/em> and <em>Academia de baile flamenco Paca Garc\u00eda<\/em> will perform at the San Ildefonso square.<\/p>\n<p>The 36th edition of the <em>Festival de Arte Flamenco de Catalu\u00f1a<\/em> will conclude on Friday, June 7<sup>th<\/sup>, when <strong>Rafael Fern\u00e1ndez <\/strong>will present his new album <em>Espiritual<\/em>\u00a0at <em>Parque de Can Mercader<\/em>. This artist from Cornell\u00e0 has studied in great flamenco schools such as <em>La Tani y El Toleo<\/em>, <em>M\u00f3nica Fern\u00e1ndez<\/em>, <em>Amor de Dios<\/em> and, for many years, at <em>La Chana<\/em> school.
